Jobs and Showers is what eShowers is all about. Here you will find useful information on creating, editing and maintaining your Jobs and showers. In eShowers, a Job can have many showers, enabling the ability to provide a quote with a total price for more than one shower. Keep reading below to find out more.
Before you can start creating a shower you need to create a Job. A Job in eShowers represents many things. It's a way of linking a customer to a shower, a way of providing more meaningful information about why a shower is being created and it helps you track your work and keep to a quoted schedule.
Creating a Job
To create your first job follow these steps.
1. While you're in the Job Database screen click on the New button along the top of the window as shown below.
2. Enter the details for the Job n the right of the screen as required and then finish by clicking the OK button.
This information should be detailed as thoroughly as possible. In this screen there are many options, including the option to select an existing customer or create a new one. To select an existing customer simply select their details from the drop down box. Creating a new customer will result in their details being added to this box for selection on this job and any future jobs.
A single job can have multiple Job Items. These allow you to add more than a single shower to a job. With Job Items you can create a job for a customer with multiple items. You could add the upstairs shower and the downstairs shower on to the same job.
Adding Job Items
To add an item to a job simply click the new button in the Job Items panel and select the type of item you would like to add. Choose shower and move on to the next part of the tutorial.
