Shower Defaults are used applied to every new shower design. The defaults help eShowers to automatically configure the enclosure using your preferences. The Shower Defaults screen is found in the Admin Menu:
The door indicator can either point to the hinge side of the door (standard for North America) or the handle side of the door (standard for Australasia and Europe)
Void Measuring System
The default void measuring system provides for centerline (standard for North America) or exterior (standard for Australasia and Europe) measuring.
Default Part Series
The default part series allow you to choose which part series to apply to all showers when first created. This can be either a manufacturer series, a custom series or even an empty series with no hardware selected.
The debug tab provides a more detailed calculation tab inside the Shower Builder for understanding how finished glass sizes have been calculated.
The glass defaults allow you to choose the default glass product, door width, edgework & Glass Header options for your shower designs.
Straight Junctions: Choose the default edgework for 180° (inline) glass panels
Square Junctions: Choose the default overlap/miter & edgework for 90° (square) glass panels
Non-Square Junctions: Choose the default edgework for non-square glass panels
Choose the default text for the tempered glass stamp or "bug" as it is also referred. eShowers will always try to locate the stamp in a discreet position, but this can be changed on each and every panel in a shower.
The glass header is used for head support when doors are hinged off glass. The settings will be applied when the head support type of "Glass Header" is chosen in the Shower Builder.
The hardware defaults provide the settings for the automatic placement and positioning of fittings for your showers.
The default clearances are applied whenever a hardware clearance is not available or if a manufacturer hardware clearance is too small for your preferences. If you prefer to always use the manufacturers hardware clearance, select the option at bottom of this screen.
